Samples of measurements done with the DOS and Windows VNA software

This page shows a few sample pictures captured during testing of the Dual Detector board. The screenshots were produced with N2PK's original DOS-based software, the Exeter software, and with my plotting program IVMan Lite.

Transmission/reflection test of an LC bandpass filter.

Practical antenna measurements - My mobile Diamond HV7A antenna with replaceable loading coils for 14, 21 and 28MHz. The test was done by placing one coil at a time and then taking a measurement. One can see that the 14MHz coil tuning is out of range and needs to be re-adjusted.

Practical antenna measurements - The SWR and reactance of my 10m attic dipole.

Practical antenna measurements - The Smith diagram of my Diamond SG7500 mobile antenna. Note the frequency range 140...150MHz - the chart was done with a 2m transverter external to the VNA. The transverter performed the frequency translation, and the VNA did the actual measurements at IF=7...17MHz, which is in the VNA working range.

Simultaneous Reflection/Transmission test done with N2PK software. Such test samples both detectors. One of them is working in reflection mode (connected to the RF DDS via the reflection bridge), the other one in transmission mode.
